GRANT APPLICATION DEADLINES :
Grant applications will only be accepted during the period July 1st - August 31st of 2009. For the year 2009 grant requests may be submitted online here, by mail, or by email. Beginning in 2010 all requests must be submitted by email.

MEETING DATES:
The Directors meet annually in the fall to award grants based on applícations received.

WHAT WE FUND:
We generally tend to fund smaller qualified organizations where grants will be used for equipment or special projects. One-tìme projects or scholarships are considered. We seldom fund salaries or general operating support and rarely do we fund huge organizations. Since we do not provide a continuing source of funding, we do not usually make repetitive or multi-year grants to the same organization. We do not make grants to individuals. Small organizations receive preference over larger organizations. Most grants tend to be in the $3,000 - $5,000 range.

REQUIREMENTS FOR GRANT APPLICATIONS SUBMITTED BY MAIL OR FED EX:
A grant application must include the following if submitted by mail or Fed Ex:
1. A Proposal for Funding Cover Sheet (obtained from us on this website) submitted in duplicate.
2. A letter or document, submitted in duplicate, stating the need, reasons behind the need, clientele served, and hopes for accomplishments if funded.
3. A Budget for the project and/or your organization and financials submitted in duplicate.
4. A copy of your 501(c)(3) Letter of Determination.

REQUIREMENTS FOR GRANT APPLICATIONS SUBMITTED BY EMAIL ARE THE SAME EXCEPT NOT IN DUPLICATE.

GEOGRAPHIC AREA:
Preference is given to applications received from organizations in close geographic proximity to Georgia and New England.
